President Ramkalawan congratulates newly elected President of Hungary   |22 March 2022

On behalf of the government and the people of Seychelles, President Wavel Ramkalawan has extended a message of congratulation to President Katalin Novák on her appointment as the new President of Hungary.

In his message, President Ramkalawan reiterated Seychelles’ sincerest and warmest congratulation and noted that: “Seychelles and Hungary share an excellent friendship, and we attach great importance to the cooperation between our two countries. I am committed to elevating the bilateral ties between Hungary and Seychelles for the benefit of our peoples.”

The Hungarian parliament elected President Katalin Novak as the EU member’s first-ever female president.
