Following the director’s recent visit to Seychelles, he emphasised the need for member states to participate in a physical meeting to address issues faced by the member states themselves as well as institutional challenges faced by EASF as an organisation, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The EASF POM concluded with a change of chairmanship as the EASF flag was handed over to Ethiopia as the new chair from the outgoing chair, which is the Republic of Djibouti.
