Third undersea cable to boost reliability of electricity on La Digue |08 November 2024

• PUC reaffirms its commitment to providing an improved electricity service to its valued customers

Electricity supply on La Digue is fed via two existing cables originating from Praslin – the first was laid in 1985, and the second in 2008. To boost the reliability of electricity service in La Digue, the installation of a third undersea cable between Praslin and La Digue was necessary.
