Ashik Hassan appointed SFA’s deputy CEO |16 December 2021

Ashik Hassan is the new deputy chief executive of the Seychelles Fishing Authority

President Wavel Ramkalawan yesterday confirmed the appointment of Ashik Hassan as the new deputy chief executive of the Seychelles Fishing Authority.

Mr Hassan started his career in 2004 as an assistant trade officer and continued to work in the trade department where he rose to the post of director general in 2017.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from the University of Kingston in the UK and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Seychelles jointly with the Eastern & Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI).

His appointment as deputy chief executive (DCEO) of the Seychelles Fishing Authority (SFA) took effect on December 1, 2021.
