Anse Boileau (West Ham) closed the gap at the top of the table to just one point as league leaders, Plaisance (Liverpool) were held to a 4-4 draw in a thrilling round of action in game week seven of the Seychelles Schools’ Premier League yesterday.
The team from west Mahé won emphatically (5-0) against Independent School (Manchester United) to set up an intriguing end to the season, with only two games remaining.
Elsewhere, Beau Vallon (Chelsea) pulled of the surprise result of the day, beating Anse Royale (Leicester City) 2-0 away from home for their first win of the season.
Mont Fleuri (Tottenham Hotspur) jumped to fourth in the table after running out as comfortable winners on a 7-2 score against Belonie (Manchester City), and Pointe Larue (Everton) and English River (Eston Villa) played out a 1-1 draw.
