Kyokushin holds National Tournament after 15-year hiatus

After an absence of more than 15 years, the Kyokushin Ryu Karate School successfully organised its 2026 National Tournament last Saturday at the Roche Caïman Omni-Sports Gymnasium.

The tournament featured both kata (forms) and kumite (fighting), attracting 46 participants ranging from red to black belt grades.

The event, which began at 9.30am, drew a large crowd of parents and members of the public eager to witness the skills and abilities of the competitors.
