President Ramkalawan holds bilateral talks in the margins of Dubai Expo 2020 |30 October 2021

While on his mission to Dubai to attend the Seychelles National Day Expo 2020, President Wavel Ramkalawan also held several talks with various key leaders of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The President first and foremost met with the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheik Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Following discussions the two leaders also briefly visited the Seychelles’ Pavilion at Expo 2020.

During his visit, President Ramkalawan also met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Also on the sidelines of Dubai Expo 2020, the Seychelles delegation led by President Ramkalawan also held talks with the executive director of Commissioner General Office, Najeeb Al-Ali, as part of efforts to further consolidate the existing strong diplomatic relations between Seychelles and the UAE.
