Mini carnival celebrates Sids and Environment Day

Victoria came alive on Saturday with a colourful mini carnival celebrating the international recognition of small island developing states (Sids) Day by Unesco and the observance of World Environment Day.
The parade was organised by the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Energy and Natural Resources in collaboration with the Ministry of Education through the Eco-Schools programme. A total of 27 schools – both state and private – took part, each representing a different Sids through creative costumes, cultural displays, and performances.
