Seychelles forms task force to protect Assomption and Aldabra

The government of Seychelles places the highest importance on safeguarding the nation’s sovereign rights and fulfilling its constitutional responsibilities with respect to Assomption, Aldabra, and all the islands of Seychelles.

To this end, the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Energy and Natural Resources (MECENR) is establishing an Inter-Sectoral Environmental Task Force for Assomption. The task force will be chaired by the Minister for Environment, Climate, Energy and Natural Resources, with Dr Nirmal Shah, special advisor in the President’s Office, serving as deputy chair.
