Champions’ Tir la met la remains at number one

Champion’s new release Tir la met la has now spent two weeks on top of the chart following its entry three weeks ago.

It is ahead of Ibiskis by VibezNTings which climbed to number two last week from its third position. The song which won the hearts of local fans, was previously a number one hit for ten weeks, out of the 18 spent on the chart. Ibiskis dislodged Juliah’s Set Serman which sat at number three.

Champion’s second tune, Seselwa, also made a slight progress from fifth to fourth place, while Juliah’s other song Pros ek Parfe climbed from seventh to fifth position.

Female artist, Taniah still dominated the chart with four songs namely Douler Lanmour, My God, Mon Ve at sixth, seventh and eight positions respectively, while Nepli Parey featuring Sebby stood at number nine. Out of the ten songs presently on the chart, the latter has now spent the most weeks – 41 in total, with five of those at number one. Taniah also features on Richie B’s song Tousala which closed last week’s chart at number 10.

Fans are once again invited to choose their best songs for next week’s lineup by voting on the following radio shows namely Tripotaz (10am – 11am), Kapilenga (2pm – 3pm) and The Cruize (4:45pm – 6pm)
