Praslin firefighters lend a hand in the community

Firefighters are known to save lives and battling fire blazes but on Friday they traded their bravery and passion for keeping communities clean and safe.
A group of firefighters from the Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency (SFRSA) and the Airport Fire Services based on Praslin led a clean-up activity behind the blocks of flats at Marie-Jeanne Estate 2.
Residents were very appreciative and supportive, and some even helped the firefighters with the work.
The clean-up focused mainly on clearing litter from the overgrown parts behind the car park area, trimming plants, removing invasive plants as well as cleaning and clearing of blocked gutters and drains.
