Foundation stone laid for Youth Hope Centre at Bon Espoir

  •          Construction cost sets at R65 million

A new Youth Hope Centre is expected to be ready by the end of this year at Bon Espoir, Montage Posée, Anse Boileau.

The foundation stone was officially laid yesterday afternoon by President Wavel Ramkalawan; Employment and Social Affairs Minister Patricia Francourt; and Education Minister Dr Justin Valentin. The ceremony also included the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, marking the formal beginning of the project.

With an estimated cost of R65 million, the Youth Hope Centre will serve as a dedicated facility for young people facing behavioural and social challenges. The project has been designed by Seychelles Infrastructure Agency (SIA), which is also overseeing contract management.
