BALISAILLE has announced the launch of its 4th International Prize for Poetic Invention with the deadline for submissions scheduled on April 6.
Awarded on manuscript, the competition aims to reward poetic texts distinguished by their originality in two categories: Creole and French language. The candidates must send their unpublished collection in PDF format by email to pipoetique@gmail.com. The text must be anonymous and contain no images.
A minimum of 15,000 characters, excluding space, is required. The winning works will be published, disseminated and distributed by Caraibéditions within their collection “Poés’iles”. A publishing contract between the award winning author and Caraibéditions will be signed before publication. The published text may, within the prior agreement of the author, be modified following the wise advice of the members of the jury. The jury may decide not to award a prize if no entry seems worthy.
