State visit of the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines |28 June 2019
PM Ralph Gonsalves arrives today
The Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, H.E. Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves, arrived in the country early today for a three-day State visit.
He is accompanied by Jinelle Adams, Minister Counsellor of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, Sustainable Development and Information Technology of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
PM Gonsalves will later today be received by President Danny Faure at State House for talks which are expected to focus primarily on issues affecting small island states as well as the blue economy.
Leaving State House, PM Gonsalves will proceed on a tour of the Botanical Gardens where he will take part in a tree planting ceremony.
Later this evening PM Gonsalves will be the guest of honour during an event hosted at State House by President Danny Faure.
Tomorrow PM Gonsalves will be the guest of honour at the 43rd Independence Day celebrations at Stad Linite. But in the morning he will visit the Vallee de Mai on Praslin, a Unesco world heritage site.
PM Gonsalves is expected to leave Seychelles early Sunday morning.
