The meeting between the Employment and UniSey delegations
The Minister for Employment and Human Resource Planning, Idith Alexander, met with University of Seychelles (UniSey) Vice-Chancellor Joelle Perreau and her delegation on Monday, January 20, to explore ways of tailoring academic programmes to better meet national labour market demands.
The discussions focused on how UniSey can support the ministry’s priorities for 2026 and beyond, including the development of degree courses aligned with national needs, human resource planning, digitalisation, support for jobseekers, and capacity building.
