CBS warns public about new impostor social media accounts in the Governor’s name

The Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS) is advising the public to remain vigilant and to refrain from engaging with or responding to new impostor social media accounts, specifically on TikTok and Facebook, falsely operating in the name of the Governor, Caroline Abel.

In a statement issued yesterday, the institution highlighted the emergence of these new accounts, through which illegitimate statements are being made in the Governor’s name.
