Incident at Pointe Larue secondary school |04 December 2020
The Ministry of Education has informed the media that an incident occurred yesterday afternoon at the Pointe Larue secondary school, whereby some students set off an explosive used to break ice on fishing vessels, known as ‘petar ton’ in Creole.
No one was hurt in this incident.
The parents of the students were called in and the incident is being investigated by the police.
The Ministry of Education would like to reiterate categorically that such behaviour is deplorable and will strictly not be tolerated on school premises.
