Three Seychellois attended training in India |11 July 2019
Three Seychelles officials nominated by the government of Seychelles recently completed training programmes in India.
Iouana Pillay, the secretary general of the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), attended the ‘11th Industrial Services Training Progamme (ISTP)’ organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), New Delhi from March 17 – 29, 2019 under India-Africa Forum Summit-III.
Alliette Rosa, engineer at the Seychelles Planning Authority, followed a course on ‘Climate Resilient Housing Technologies’ at the National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad from March 18 to April 14, 2019 under the ITEC programme.
Peter Allisop, from the Seychelles Licencing Authority, attended a certificate course in IT and networking skills at the NIIT Ltd. Gurugram from March 18 to May 10, 2019 under the ITEC programme.
All expenses of these officials’ training in India, including international airfare, internal travel, course fee, accommodation and living allowance were borne by the government of India.
