Day care St Antoine Anse Etoile celebrates Halloween and Creole festival |03 November 2020
The day Care St Antoine Anse Etoile celebrated Halloween and Creole festival last week amid the new normal.
The children, with the help of their parents, were dressed in colourful outfits and were ready for a photo-shoot.
Miss Fera Joseph noted that for this year they were not planning any major celebration due to Covid-19, but some parents asked if their children could wear a costume for Halloween and Creole festival.
"We are happy we could combine the two activities and we all had so much fun," she said.
Corinne Arnephy, a parent, noted that she was super impressed with the feast the school organised.
"My child had so much fun and I congratulate the staff of the day care for organising such an event."
Another parent, Karine Brigilia, also said that her child was able to have a different experience. “The day care brought the children together to have a party. Although the event was not the same as two years ago, my child was excited as together with their friends they were able to dress up. I hope in the coming years things will get back to normal.”
Micheline Kaboré, another parent, added: “I may not say it always but I mean it whenever I say thank you for all the hard work and dedication you put in everyday for helping our kids. I realised this today when my daughter came from the day care with a big smile on her face and an exciting voice saying ‘mummy I was happy today at the school’; so thank you for organising all of this for our little ones, I truly appreciate all the hard work of the St Antoine day care team; you guys are the best and we are proud parents.”
