Seychelles’ first online food delivery App Manzaii participates in World Food Day activities |22 October 2020

In commemoration of World Food Day, celebrated on October 16, Manzaii – Seychelles first online food delivery App Company – did a special promotion by providing food delivery from any food outlets partnered with Manzaii that can be accessed through the app for only R1 on the day.

In order to promote the services of his company, Wolfgang Germain and his team were at the Seychelles Postal Office from 10.30am to 1.30pm to promote his services and distributing fliers. They were also assisting interested customers to subscribe to the platform.

“Manzaii is a Seychellois owned company developed during the Covid pandemic with the aim to ensure that food outlets remain profitable and customers can adapt their lifestyle to the new normal. The event is being used to educate the public on how to access food safely. We are in the marketing phase of our project and today being World Food Day, is the perfect occasion to get out there to the public. We started on July 7 and so far Seychellois are responding positively to this service. As we get more suppliers on board with us, we are sure we will get more clients. The lockdown was a stimulus for us to invest in this kind of business. Usually around town area, the delivery costs R20 – R25. We are calling upon the different food outlets to experience the system and see if it works for you,” explained Mr Germain.

Mr Germain further noted that Manzaii is a technology company passionate in bringing great tasting food from an array of food choices to people. Seychelles has a variety of incredible food outlets in the form of take-aways and restaurants that should easily be accessible to everyone.

“Manzaii partners with those food outlets to ensure that anytime you feel like eating their food or whenever you crave for a particular cuisine, a quick search and placing your order through Manzaii is all it takes. Manzaii’s mission remains to bring the food you love, when you want it, delivered to where you are. The world has been hit with one of the worst pandemic yet and during this Covid-19 outbreak, both Joel and I saw that there was an extremely weak point in our country's operation due to this. So we decided to do something to strengthen our country and prevent such a detrimental event from affecting our economy as it did then. Hence Manzaii was born as a first response,” he concluded.
