JOBO.sc ready to livestream Patrick Victor’s musical concert |09 September 2020
All is set and ready on JOBO.sc’s side for Seychellois music legend Patrick Victor’s livestream performance to a global audience on JOBO Live on Saturday September 12, 2020 as from 7pm.
It was founder and chief executive of JOBO, Herve Chang-Yunn, who made the statement to the press at the company’s headquarters, Highway Complex, Providence.
He said fans in Seychelles and overseas, sitting in their comfort zone, will be able to view the music concert portal by obtaining an electronic ticket (e-ticket) prior to the live show on https://jobo.sc/live. The e-ticket will cost R200 inclusive of 15% value added tax (Vat) and 5% transaction fee.
Mr Chang-Yunn added that JOBO.sc is also making available for fans, who will not be able to view the show on the night of the live performance, with a ‘seven-day on-demand’ option, whereby they will be able to view the concert for a period of seven days as many times as they want. This option will start as from September 14, 2020 and it will cost R250 inclusive of 15% Vat and 5% transaction fee. He noted that fans can also purchase the livestream and the ‘seven-day on-demand’ option as one package for only R250 inclusive of 15% Vat and 5% transaction fee.
“If you look at it, with one e-ticket, the entire family can watch the livestream. This is an advantage for families to enjoy as they will have to buy only one e-ticket unless someone wants to enjoy the performance separately,” said Mr Chang-Yunn, noting that the e-ticket will give access to the page where the ‘livestream’ performance and ‘on-demand option’ would be posted.
Local telecommunications company Intelvision, which will be providing the internet connection for the livestream, is the main sponsor of the live concert.
He said that Intelvision will also be whitelisting (will not use the allowance) of its customers on cap packages.
The livestream concert is a collaboration of months of planning between JOBO.sc and Intelvision, including Patrick Victor, Seychelles’ legendary singer.
Mr Chang-Yunn said JOBO.sc is a leading online advertising platform for jobs in Seychelles and is now diversifying into livestreaming with its latest online venture, the ‘JOBO Live’, which came as result of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
He stated that ‘JOBO Live’ is in contact with local artists such as Elijah, Mia, Jean-Marc Volcy and Joseph Sinon, among others, for future livestreaming performances.
Mr Victor, who is also the Seychelles’ honorary cultural ambassador, said he is ready and looking forward to entertaining fans, sitting in their comfort zones, with his classical songs such as Mon Pe Esper Ou, Zimaz Oubliye, Frazil, Solin, Bouldenez dan divan, Mon Bizou, among others.
He said thanks to livestreaming it will be an opportunity for him to sing for his fans wherever they may be, in their different settings.
He also called on fans to take part and to sing along with him.
“To you all, all I can say is that you won’t be disappointed,” Ambassador Victor said.
