STC warehouse at Amitié collapses |24 July 2020

Part of the Seychelles Trading Company’s warehouse at Amitié on Praslin collapsed on Wednesday evening after being severely eroded by recent large waves.

Luckily no stock has been affected and nobody was injured in the incident.

The Seychelles Trading Company (STC) has moved all its food stocks to another of its warehouses at Grand Anse while it conducts a thorough investigation in the incident.

Meanwhile, the STC is reassuring Praslin residents that the incident has not affected food stocks on the island.
