NMCC Eco-Friendly Run - Run for health and fun at Bel Ombre on July 13 |26 June 2019

The NMCC Eco-friendly run will take place on Saturday July 13

This year’s annual NMCC Eco-Friendly Run will take place on Saturday July 13, staring at 4pm at Bel Ombres and will once again feature the 1km, 5km and 10km races, suiting the ability of everyone who wishes to take part.

The 1Km race will be for Under-10 runners (born in 2010-2015), while the 5km race will be open the Under 14 (born in 2006-2011), the Under 18 (born 2005- 2002), the 18 – 34 years old (born1985 – 2001), the 35 – 49 years old (born 1984 – 1970) and the 50+ (born in 1969 or before).

All the races will start and finish next to the Community Centre.

The 1Km will start at 4pm and athletes will run to La Scala Restaurant and back to starting line the 5Km and 10Km races will start at 4.30 pm.

From the starting line, the athletes will run towards La Scala Restaurant turn, run up to Ramados Flat and back to the start for the 5Km.

As for the 10Km, on reaching Ramados flat they will continue past Boat House up to the big gate after Pti Payot and back to the starting point.

Participants should note that there must be at least 3 athletes in a category to win the prizes, or that category will be merged with the next higher or lower category.

             3rd - R200

10km – 1st – R1, 000

             2nd – R600

             3rd – R400
