Back to school! |12 May 2020
Interhearts Montessori pre-primary school, Nadine Andre: “Most of the students came and fortunately we had very few crying from what we were expecting. They cried mostly because of separating them with regards to the social distancing but all went really well today. I guess even the children have had enough of staying at home and a big thank you to the parents who have cooperated very well. The kids were very happy to see their friends. We cannot do much when it comes to children interacting with each other and this is why they come to school. They are also quite small (2-5 years) and they do not understand yet the concept of staying far from each other. We are trying our best to keep them safe as much as possible.”
Trotters Stop, Pre & Primary School, Poonam Verma: “All our students came this morning and we took measures following the guidance from the department of health. And when we moved to this new building, we already installed sanitizers and already had an impeccable clean environment. The parents commended us for that and we are trying our best to work within the norms of the ‘new normal’.
