Independent School students staying home for two weeks |17 March 2020

Students of Independent School will also remain at home for two weeks starting yesterday, March 16, 2020.

The decision was taken after the health and education authorities’ press conference on Sunday night following confirmation of cases of coronavirus in the country.

School director Zotique Pragassen wrote in a communiqué yesterday that the school management team is in discussion to determine what assistance will be offered to the students and parents during this period.

Parents and secondary students will be able to collect books and other resources at the school on Wednesday March 18, 2020 from 8am to 12 noon. Parents and primary students will do the collection on Thursday March 19 from 8am to 12 noon.

The school will communicate other decisions via e-mail, our website (www.ischool.sc) and by other means.

The school management has apologised for the short notice and added that it would appreciate everyone’s understanding and support at this trying time.
