OCEAN AI: Empowering Seychellois to become creators in the age of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping economies, industries and workplaces around the world. For Seychelles, the question is no longer whether AI will influence the country’s future, but whether Seychellois will play an active role in shaping that future or simply consume technologies developed elsewhere.

As governments, businesses and researchers increasingly adopt AI tools, countries with strong technical talent are positioning themselves to benefit from the opportunities created by this technological shift. Smaller nations such as Seychelles risk being left behind unless they develop the skills and expertise needed to participate meaningfully in the digital economy.
