La Digue hosts first-ever Pink Marathon in support of breast cancer awareness

La Digue made history on Saturday October 24, 2026, by hosting its first-ever Pink Marathon, bringing together members of the community to promote breast cancer awareness, encourage healthy living and show support for families affected by the disease.

The event, which started at Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie, featured three race categories: 3km, 5km and 10km. Participants of different ages and fitness levels came together to take part in this meaningful initiative, demonstrating the spirit of unity and solidarity within the community.
