‘I want to be remembered as the teacher who saw ability in disability’

As children, many of us imagined the people we would one day become. For Kelly Albert, those childhood games turned out to be an early glimpse of her future.

Growing up on Praslin, her bedroom became a classroom, her toys and friends became students, and her wooden door doubled as a blackboard. While her mother was less than pleased with the marks left behind, young Kelly was already immersed in her dream of teaching.
