Mass marks Disaster Risk Reduction Day and Police Day

A Holy Mass was held yesterday at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Victoria to commemorate the 2026 International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction under the theme ‘Resilience Starts at Home’, while also marking Police Day.
Organised by the Department of Risk and Disaster Management (DRDM) in collaboration with the Seychelles Police, the service provided an opportunity for prayer and reflection on the protection of Seychelles, the safety of its communities, and the dedication of those involved in disaster risk reduction, emergency response and law enforcement.
