Lions Club appeals for support to provide glasses to elderly residents

Twelve elderly residents of La Retraite Home for the Elderly have been identified as needing glasses following a free vision-screening exercise organised by the Lions Club of Seychelles on Saturday.

A total of 13 residents underwent screening, with one referred to the Ministry of Health for further assessment.

The exercise forms part of the Lions Club of Seychelles’ nationwide vision-screening campaign aimed at improving the eyesight and quality of life of elderly residents living in homes across the country.
