Ramkalawan testifies as CCCL Inquiry hears final witness

Former President Wavel Ramkalawan and explosives and safety specialist Richard Lloydell were among the final witnesses to appear before the Commission of Inquiry investigating the CCCL explosion, as the commission concluded its public hearings yesterday.

Mr Ramkalawan gave evidence on his oversight of the police and security services during his presidency, while Mr Lloydell, the commission's technical expert, presented the findings of his investigation into the December 7, 2023 explosion and submitted his final report.
