Seychelles lose to semifinalists Namibia

Seychelles have finished third in group A of the TotalEnergies Confederation of African Football Men’s Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations | Cosafa qualifier after losing their third match to Namibia on a 3-0 score on Tuesday at the ABB Stadium 2 in Mozambique.

The Seychelles team needed to win to stay alive in the competition and they went into Tuesday’s match on the back of a 4-3 victory earned against Mauritius last Sunday. Lorenzo Hoareau scored a hat-trick including two penalties in the win against Mauritius. Naythan Barbé was the other Seychelles’ scorer with a header.
