Seychelles delegation joins high-level IAEA conference in Vienna

A high-level delegation from the Republic of Seychelles has arrived in Vienna, Austria, to participate in the 70th annual general conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), taking place from September 14–18, 2026.

The delegation is led by Minister for Health Dr Marvin Fanny, accompanied by Steve Monnaie, principal secretary for Labour Relations and Regulations in the Ministry of Employment & Human Resource Planning.

The annual IAEA general conference brings together senior officials, scientists and representatives from member states worldwide to approve the Agency’s budget, debate nuclear safety frameworks, and promote the peaceful, safe application of nuclear technology and science.
