Versatile drummer finds his rhythm

For 21-year-old Shawn Monthy, drumming is more than keeping a beat – it is a passion that has grown since his primary school days, taking him from school performances to leading hotels and stages alongside well-known Seychellois artists.

Based at Brilliant in Cascade, Shawn has developed into a versatile musician. While drums remain his main instrument, he is equally comfortable on guitar, keyboard, bass, and even providing backing vocals – both live and in studio recordings.
