Real Maldive hold their ground as Côte d’Or steal the spotlight
The Seychelles Football Federation Premier League pre-season tournament is beginning to develop a fascinating shape after four match days, with Real Maldive setting the pace in the Mahé group and Côte d’Or moving to the summit of the Inner Islands group.
While neither leaders have been entirely flawless, both have established themselves as the teams to catch as the competition enters an increasingly important phase.
In the Mahé group, Real Maldive remain unbeaten and occupy top spot with eight points from four matches. Two victories and two draws have given them a one-point advantage over the chasing pack, and their record of 10 goals scored is particularly striking.
