Planning Authority engages banks to ease construction loan challenges

The Seychelles Planning Authority (SPA) held a workshop with representatives from various local banks to discuss challenges encountered by clients when applying for loans linked to construction projects.

The meeting, convened by the Planning Authority, aimed to give representatives from local financial institutions a clearer understanding of the Authority’s planning application process and to improve communication between banks, their clients and the SPA.

According to Lyshad Basset, assistant Information and Communication Officer at the Planning Authority, the initiative was part of efforts to increase public awareness and help clients better understand the requirements involved when seeking financing for construction.
