Festival closes on high note despite rain

The Praslin Culinary and Arts Festival came to a close yesterday after a lively weekend of food, music, sports and entertainment, despite persistent rain which tested the resilience of organisers, vendors and festivalgoers.
Held at the Berjaya Praslin Resort field at Côte d’Or, the festival got off to a challenging start on Friday, when heavy rainfall left parts of the field flooded.
Speaking to the media at the closing ceremony, the chief executive of the Creative Seychelles Agency (CSA), Margaret Raguin, said the festival had generally gone well.
