Speaker leads Assembly delegation on benchmarking visit to Mauritius

 

A delegation led by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles, Hon. Azarel Ernesta, undertook a benchmarking visit to the National Assembly of Mauritius from August 25 - 28, 2026.

The mission aimed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices between the two Parliaments, while offering the delegation deeper insight into the processes, systems, and institutional practices of the Mauritian legislature.

The Speaker was accompanied by Hon. Collin Tirant, Hon. Wilbert Herminie, deputy clerk Alexandria Faure, director of the Speaker’s Office Nickey Antat, IT manager Vincent Quatre, senior hansard editor Georgina Balette, committee clerk Samia Lebon, production and media operations officer Alvin Abel, and public relations and protocol officer Rashid Valmont.
