Seychelles and Saudi Arabia explore investment and cooperation opportunities

The ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Saad Abdullah AlNofaia, paid a courtesy call on the principal secretary for Foreign Affairs & the Diaspora, Ambassador Ian Madeleine, yesterday at the Maison Quéau de Quinssy ahead of his accreditation ceremony.

The two diplomats discussed the General Cooperation Agreement (GCA) which had previously been signed and agreed to explore areas of mutual interest. Two areas of focus were trade and fisheries export, with Ambassador-designate AlNofaia noting that the seafood and fisheries sectors were areas in which Saudi Arabia showed interest in investing into.
