Young Seychellois footballers receive safeguarding training before return to France
In a significant step towards safeguarding the safety and well-being of young athletes, 24 promising Seychellois footballers from the Institute of Football Seychelles in France took part in a specialised safeguarding and child development session at Olympic House in Roche Caïman yesterday.
The hour-long session aimed to equip the young athletes with the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves from physical and mental abuse, understand the changes associated with growing up, and recognise potential risks while pursuing their football development abroad.
