Workshop brings young Seychellois dancers together ahead of Youth Festival finale

Young Seychellois dancers from various youth groups came together for a four‑day multi‑style dance workshop led by Malagasy dancer, choreographer, and organiser Jannia Blast’in, as part of the ongoing Youth Festival activities.

The workshop gathered 36 dancers aged 15 and above, with sessions focused on training, choreography, and collaboration among members of dance groups affiliated with the Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC).

Ms Blast’in also conducted sessions on Praslin, giving dancers from Praslin and La Digue the chance to participate. This ensured that young performers from the outer islands could benefit from the training and exposure offered by the visiting instructor.
