By Mandy Bertin
La Digue once again came together in a celebration of faith and tradition as residents, returning Diguois and visitors gathered on the island over the weekend to mark the annual Notre Dame de L’Assomption feast.
From Friday until Sunday, August 16, a programme of activities was organised by a team involving different partners, agencies and volunteers, chaired by the Minister for Local Government & Inner Islands Eveline Rose.
Seychelles NATION spoke to La Digue district administrator Barbara Barallon yesterday evening as the weekend’s packed programme of activities came to an end.
