Cabinet takes decisions on energy, roads, aviation, justice and national policies
President Patrick Herminie chaired a scheduled meeting of the Cabinet on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, during which several important legal and policy memoranda were approved.
Energy security
Cabinet approved the Seychelles Petroleum Company Limited (Seypec) entering into a seven‑year fuel supply agreement with TotalEnergies Trading SA (TOTSA), incorporating a payment extension facility. The agreement is expected to secure a reliable supply of petroleum products while strengthening Seypec’s liquidity and working capital, contributing to national energy security and financial resilience.
