World Travel in 360 project launches in Seychelles
Since Monday, August 10, 2026, Seychelles has embarked on a new chapter in tourism and digital innovation with the launch of the ‘World Travel in 360’ project.
Supported by the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB), this pioneering initiative showcases the islands’ natural beauty, vibrant culture, and unique attractions through immersive 360° imagery and Google Street View mapping.
Led by Dimitar Kunev, chief executive of World Travel in 360, the project involves a team of experts capturing high‑resolution panoramic images across the islands. The mapping began on Mahé, covering its public roads, bustling markets, scenic coastlines, and charming neighbourhoods. Over the weekend, the team extended coverage to Praslin and La Digue, offering a comprehensive digital tour of the archipelago.
