Joining hands to protect our blue seas and green islands for a sustainable and shared future

Building a beautiful homeland is a shared aspiration of humanity. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilisation, China is committed to harmonious co-existence between man and nature, pursuing a path of development that combines economic prosperity, social well-being and environmental health, while actively contributing to global ecological governance.

China and Seychelles share common values: respecting nature, cherishing biodiversity and pursuing sustainable development. As the two countries mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, we recognise more than ever that sustainability is not only a shared choice, but also a defining feature of China–Seychelles friendship in the new era.
