Mary Payet: Strength beyond disability

The sound of laughter, music, and conversation filled the grounds of Anse Kerlan on Saturday as people gathered for the special disabled fun day – a celebration of inclusion, connection, and joy.

Amid the crowd was a young woman whose smile and confidence immediately stood out. She was not there simply to be celebrated, but as a reminder of what is possible when determination meets opportunity.
