In a heartfelt acknowledgment of dedication and community spirit, the National Council for Children (NCC) hosted a prestigious Thanksgiving Ceremony to recognise the remarkable efforts behind the success of the Children’s Festival 2026.
Held yesterday at the NCC headquarters in Bel Eau, the event celebrated the many individuals, schools, organisations, and community groups whose participation and support transformed the festival into a memorable national celebration. It was also an occasion to honour pupils who took part in the Children’s Carnival, as well as the schools, NGOs, and community entities that played pivotal roles in bringing the festival to life – a collective effort that made the festival not only a vibrant showcase of Seychellois culture but also a platform for education, creativity, and national pride.
