National Assembly joins SFF’s independence commemorative initiative

The National Assembly has become the latest institution to receive commemorative footballs from the Seychelles Football Federation, as part of an initiative celebrating Seychelles’ 50th anniversary of independence.

The gesture is to recognise organisations, and institutions that have contributed to the growth and development of football in the country.

A total of 38 commemorative footballs were presented to the National Assembly during a ceremony held last Friday at the institution’s building on Ile du Port.

The footballs will be distributed among members and staff of the institution.

The presentation was led by Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) vice-president Dolor Ernesta, who officially handed over the footballs to Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Egbert Aglaé, in the presence of SFF secretary general Denis Rose.
