FPAC reviews SMA partnership agreement and audit findings

The second session of the Finance and Public Accounts Committee (FPAC) on Thursday focused on the memorandum of agreement between the Government of Seychelles and the Colombo International Nautical Engineering College (Cinec) for the provision of management and training services to the Seychelles Maritime Academy (SMA).

Signed in 2023, the agreement provides for Cinec to support the management and training operations of the academy. An audit review by the Auditor General assessed the extent of implementation, identified outstanding areas, highlighted challenges, and noted where progress had been made.
