Gretta Didon marks 101 years of life and faith

Gretta Didon, born on July 12, 1925, celebrated her 101st birthday yesterday at her residence in La Misère in the Grand Anse Mahé district, making her the eldest resident in the district.

She received a blessing from Father Gabriel Siransy of Sacré-Cœur de Jésus Parish, who regularly visits to give her communion. Ms Didon was also presented with a special card and hamper from the Office of the President. Flowers and a cake were gifted by the district administration office and personally delivered by the district administrator for Grand Anse Mahé, Retania Leon.
